Hello and happy unofficial summer! Last weekend I took a stroll through the Whetstone Park of Roses in Columbus, Ohio and it was absolutely lovely. It is my favorite way to spend an afternoon during this time of year. If you’re looking for a place to have a photoshoot, picnic, or event, you can’t go wrong with the park of roses!
I need to talk about this Reformation dress for a minute – it is my favorite dress of all time. It’s easy to dress up or down. I can wear it for a walk in the park during the day or in the evening for a date night. It was sold out last summer but I was lucky enough to find it in my size on Depop. It’s 100% linen, which makes it great for hot summer days. There is smocking in the back around the zipper to provide a bit of stretch. Plus, it has pockets π
I paired the dress with my Sarah Flint 30 mm perfect block sandals in gold napa. This was the first time I wore them out, so it was a bit of a breaking-in period. However, they were comfortable overall and the arch support was great for walking in the park. I have recently become a brand ambassador for Sarah Flint, so I have a code for you to use if you’re interested in trying them out for yourself. Use SARAHFLINT-BAKYNDAL to get $50 off your first pair!
I also recently got a used camera, so I took this opportunity to test out my new-to-me DSLR camera. Keep scrolling for more rose photos for your viewing pleasure.

This pale pink rose was probably my favorite in the garden.
Thanks for reading all about my trip to the park of roses. I hope this inspires you to take a trip of your own to your local gardens, wherever that may be π
