Ora’s Amazing Herbal – Botanical Skin Care Review!

Hi, friend! I am very excited to be partnering with Ora’s Amazing Herbal for a review of a few of their products. They were kind enough to reach out and gift me a few items for today’s post, but all of my opinions you’ll read below are honest. I wouldn’t be posting something I didn’t truly like. One thing to note is that I know a decent amount of information about skincare, but I am definitely no expert. So please consider this review as a recommendation from a friend, not a dermatologist! Everyone’s skin is different, so what works for me might not work for someone else. Make sure you do a little bit of research and always patch-test a new product before using it for the first time. Now, let’s get into a little bit of information about Ora’s Amazing Herbal!

Ora's Amazing Herbal products from left to right - Magic Face Potion, Lavender Body Oil, and Rejuvi-C Face Mask powder. The products are next to a Gua Sha.
Ora’s Amazing Herbal

Ora’s Amazing Herbal is a woman-owned & family-run small business that creates effective, clean, and botanical-forward skincare products. All of Ora’s products are made consciously in the United States and are never tested on animals. Plus, they are very transparent about the ingredients they use in their products and educate their customers on their benefits. Ora’s also has a great blog on the website where you can learn about their products, how to heal different skin conditions, and general self-care. I highly recommend checking it out.

We all know how expensive skin care products can be sometimes, but all products from Ora’s are reasonably priced. With the holidays coming up, I also want to mention that they have a great Gifts Under $30 section on their website! I am currently eyeing a few gift sets for my loved ones at the moment.

Hear directly from Ora’s Amazing Herbal about their story:

“Here at Oraโ€™s Amazing Herbal, a proud and grateful woman-owned business, we use the power of healing herbs to craft clean and natural skincare you can trust for your whole family. Our very first salve was created as a natural eczema treatment for Oraโ€™s daughter. Since then, our line of skincare products has grown to include products ranging from body powders to facial masks to beard oils!”

My Review of Ora’s Amazing Herbal Products

Now for the good stuff: the review! First off, my gift bundle came in a package of recyclable cardboard and compostable bio-plastic, which I loved! I got the lavender Blissful Earth body oil, the Rejuvi C face mask, and the Magic Face Potion serum. Overall, I am happy and impressed with all three products. Keep reading for a full review of each one!

Lavender Blissful Earth Body Oil
Ora's Amazing Herbal lavender body oil with a bunch of fresh lavender.

I have just recently come around to trying body oils because I never used to be a fan of them, but I love this one! Lavender is my favorite scent, and this oil in particular smells amazing. I like to use it right after I get out of the shower. I first tried it and learned that it dries quickly – that was always one of my hangups about body oils. But this one absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy for a long time after using it. I know this body oil will be a savior when the weather gets even colder this winter because I always have the worst dry skin.

Rejuvi C Mask – Antioxidant Face Powder
Ora's Amazing Herbal Rejuvi C face mask powder.

The Rejuvi C mask contains French green clay and hibiscus. This has quickly become my new favorite clay face mask. This mask gently exfoliates your skin and leaves it feeling so soft after you rinse it off. I love that this product comes in the form of a powder so you can tailor the texture to your liking. Finally (and this is just a fun thing), the powder is originally green but when you add water it turns to a pretty dusty rose color!

Magic Face Potion Serum
Ora's Amazing Herbal Magic Face Potion serum next to a green Gua Sha tool.

Last but not least, I received the Magic Face Potion aka an antioxidant face oil serum. It does not contain retinol but it has anti-aging properties, such as promoting cell turnover and supporting natural collagen production. I’ve been using this serum at night after washing my face and using my toner. I use a few pumps and then apply the product to my neck and face. I really like the texture and how hydrating it is. It also gives my skin a nice glow, which is an added bonus!

The Magic Face Potion Serum is recommended for women over 35-ish. I don’t think I quite need it yet since I am still in my mid-twenties :). But I still really like it! If I were a few years older, I would definitely be using this every day! I think this is great for people with sensitive skin who don’t want to use ingredients like retinol for aging gracefully.

Thank you so much for reading my review of Ora’s Amazing Herbal! I am so grateful that they reached out to partner with me on this project. If you want to try them out for yourself, feel free to reach out for a referral link to get $20 to use toward your first purchase. This is a referral code that anyone can use via their website, FYI) If you end up trying any of their products, please leave a comment. I would love to know what you think!
