Lavender & Green
I shared this lavender and green outfit on my Instagram a couple of weeks ago but also wanted to share it on the blog. Lavender has been such a huge trend this spring, and it’s personally one of my favorite colors.
The inspiration to try this combo came from Blair Eadie from Atlantic-Pacific. But I have to admit that I was worried that I couldn’t pull it off. I love colorful outfits, but I usually only wear one bold color at a time. But lately, I’ve been trying to step out of my fashion comfort zone. Thus, this outfit was born!
So if you need a sign to branch out and try a new color combination, this is it!
Also, this entire outfit is thrifted! I scored this lilac cashmere sweater (brand is Charter Club) from my local thrift store. The green corduroy skirt is from Zodiac Vintage, a shop in Indianapolis. I purchased the shoes via Poshmark, but the brand is Cole Haan.
I love wearing skirts but sometimes during the spring it’s a bit too cold. Styling a sweater and a skirt is a great formula for a winter-to-spring transition outfit.
