Styling the Pink Blazer of My Dreams (It’s Thrifted!)

Styling the Pink Blazer of My Dreams (It's Thrifted!). This outfit consists of a pink double-breasted blazer, a white turtleneck, black faux leather pants, black booties, a plaid tweed headband, and a pink cross body convertible purse.
Pink blazer (thrifted, similar on Poshmark) / white turtleneck (thrifted, similar here) / J. Crew headband (sold out, similar options here) / Kate Spade purse (purchased via Poshmark) / Abercrombie pants/ DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links. In today’s post, I am styling the pink blazer of my dreams. Plus, it was a thrift store find!

I saw this pink double-breasted blazer at Goodwill and snatched it up immediately. One of my tips for secondhand fashion is to go for blazers when you are thrift shopping. Make sure you check both the women’s and men’s section! Blazers are normally pretty expensive, but you can find amazing vintage ones at a thrift shop for a fraction of the price. Plus, the quality of vintage blazers is usually way better than blazers you can find in a retail store. They just don’t make them like they used to. I can’t recommend this enough, especially if you are just starting out in your career and building a professional wardrobe.

For another great pink thrift find, check out my first post of 2021!

Mix It Up – Go For Bold Patterns and Colors

Also, don’t be afraid to try different colors or patterns on your blazers. If you can have a bit of fun with it, go for pink or another bright color. You should definitely have at least one simple classic black blazer, but try to experiment and find out what makes you feel great. Blazers are a closet staple because they elevate your look and give you a confidence boost – I always feel great wearing one.

I paired my blazer with faux leather pants, which are having a moment right now. The Spanx faux leather leggings are super popular – I have them and the fit is great. However, I’ve had them for about a year and the leather sheen has worn off of them. They don’t look like “leather” now, which is kind of a bummer. I wanted a pair of faux leather pants that are more elevated than the leggings, so when I saw these pants while shopping with a friend, I was immediately drawn to them. So many people compliment them every time I wear them!

Classic Wardrobe Staples

A turtleneck and blazer combination for business casual attire is my tried-and-true classic. You can’t go wrong. I know most people are still working from home, but I have to go to the office every day. If you need Zoom meeting clothes, you could wear a simple turtleneck while working from home, and add a blazer right before your meeting. Easy! My workplace is more casual, but we are still expected to wear professional clothing. I sort of like this dress code though because I can dress up while still showing my personality through my clothes.

If you have to go into the office, or really anywhere, you should try wearing a bold blazer! So many people say that because they only wear loungewear now (and don’t get me wrong, I love loungewear), they feel amazing when they wear a dressy outfit for once. My recommendation is a blazer because I guarantee that it will make you feel more chic and put together.

Thanks for reading about my styling of the pink blazer of my dreams! I want to know what item of clothing makes you feel amazing. Everyone has something that makes them feel great, whether it’s jewelry, having their hair done, high heels, etc. Whatever it is, let me know in the comments!

Thanks for reading!
